What's in my Camera Bag?! 2018

I get asked a lot about what equipment I use on my professional shoots. I took the time today to showcase everything I keep in my MAIN camera bag (I explain my backup bags in the video above). In this blog I will be going through everything from the video, with a short explanation as to why I keep it in my bag as well as an amazon link if you want to get said item for yourself!

Selens 168 LED Dimmable Ultra High Power Light: []

This light is the most versatile way to shine light on any subject, be it a model, a product, or if you even need a little background fill light.  The color temperature is a little green, but it isn't anything that cant be fixed in post.

Neewer NW-670 TTL Flash Speedlite: []

My flash of choice, this flash works with both my Canon and Sony camera bodies and even works with wireless receivers that I own for it as well. While there are more powerful flashes on the market, this flash provides everything I need in a cheap, reliable package.

Memory Card Carrying Case: []

Every professional needs to keep multiple SD Cards and this carrying case works, it is not the one shown in the video, but I also own this one and it is available for Amazon Prime users, so this one will also work.

67MM Altura Photo Professional Photography Filter Kit (UV, CPL Polarizer, Neutral Density ND4) : []

Filters can provide so many benefits to your photos and videos when used properly, this is a great kit for 67mm thread lens.

Sony VGC2EM Vertical Grip: []

This battery grip allows the A7Rii the ability to use two batteries and create a much more comfortable grip when shooting portrait style photos.

NP FW50 RAVPower Camera Battery Charger Set: []

This charger works for the A7Rii series of batteries and allows for charging two batteries at the same time through a micro USB cable which can be charged from any form of USB charging (even portable)!

Sigma MC-11 Mount Converter Lens Adapter (Sigma Canon EF-Mount Lenses to Sony E Cameras): []

For anyone who wants to convert their Canon lens to the Sony architecture, this device works near flawlessly and provides a seamless transition from one camera body to the next.

Sigma 35mm F1.4 ART DG HSM Lens: []

Easily the lens I use the most. The f/1.4 create a stunning depth of field and I feel 35mm is one of the most used/easy to use focal lengths. The colors that this lens produces are amazing.

Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM: []

One of the greatest zoom lens out there, 24-70 provides the most versatile focal length for any situation you might find yourself in. Being at an f/2.8 allows for some great bokeh for any shot you take as well.

Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L USM: []

The most commonly used Telephoto Focal Length Zoom Lens, as I mentioned in a previous review, you absolutely do not need to buy the more expensive f/2.8 model with the Image Stabilization. This version of the lens will do everything you need it to!

Movo VXR10 Universal Video Microphone with Shock Mount: []

For those who need a cheap vlogging microphone on the go, this mic does the job. It also somes with a 'dead cat' (wind filter) that reduces the harsh cut of wind noise very well.

Sony a7R II Full-Frame Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens Camera: []

Full review to come, but this camera body does it all. 42 megapixel photos, 4k/30 video, in body stabilization, this camera can do it all. By far my favorite!

Sony SEL16F28 16mm f/2.8 Wide-Angle Lens: []

My go to vlogging lens, the ability to use this lens for great focus tracking during my vlogs without any noise from the lens focusing system helps my videos look and feel so much more professional. This is even ironically one of the cheapest lens I own too!

So there you have it. My latest and greatest equipment all in one convenient place for you to see. I hope this provided you with some positive insight to how I go about my workflow and cannot wait to hear your feedback in the comments!

Have an amazing day and until next time, I will see you on the internet!
